The Israeli Mission to the UN hosted Mossab Hassan Yousef, the son of a Hamas founder, earlier this week. In a blistering 30-minute speech, Yousef used his own personal experience as a son groomed to carry on the Hamas culture, as well as his 10-year stint as an Israeli informant, to clearly expose the reality of Hamas.

During his speech, he pulled back the curtain to expose the true ambition of Hamas, and he clearly warned that if Hamas is not annihilated in this venture, it will empower terrorist groups around the globe to hold democracies (and republics) hostage to their propaganda and they will proliferate in Europe, America and elsewhere.

If you have any doubt as to the depths of evil within Hamas, spend a half hour hearing Yousef expose them.

Given the truth regarding Hamas, it is difficult to imagine that Hamas is sincere in the “humanitarian” objectives of the ceasefire with Israel. They are now receiving more fuel for their underground operations, opportunity to re-load and re-position, and greater freedom to move about. None of those things are favorable to Israel, and indeed destroy much of the advantage the IDF has worked so hard to achieve.

Thankfully, the Keeper of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps! (Psalm 121:4) That same Keeper diminished Gideon’s army before giving him victory (Judges 7), so surely the God of Israel will be victorious regardless of the setbacks. Let’s pray in agreement with what Scripture says!
