God’s Word tells us that those who bless Israel will be blessed. (Genesis 12:2) So, how does one bless Israel? There are literally innumerable ways to do so, but I want to make you aware of two events, and invite you to take part in blessing Israel.
American Christian Leaders for Israel (ACLI) is spearheading a rally for Israel on the National Mall in Washington DC tomorrow (Tuesday, November 14), followed by a weekend of prayer on November 17-19. If you live in the DC area, please attend the rally on Tuesday if you can. Click here for info.
For those of us who cannot make it to DC tomorrow, let’s join the Weekend of Prayer for Zion’s Sake. As a member of ACLI, I am joining the initiative by 1. contacting local synagogues to let them know churches and individual Christians are praying for Israel and for Jews everywhere, and 2. hosting a Zoom prayer meeting on Friday night. (Find information here.) Churches and groups from around America will also pray this weekend. Together, we stand with Israel!
I invite all who are interested to join our group via Zoom on Friday, November 17 at 6pm Arizona time (5pm Pacific, 6pm Mountain, 7pm Central, 8pm Eastern). Ephesians 6:12 tells us our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. So, while the IDF battles Hamas on the ground, let’s fight the battle alongside them in prayer.
