The more we learn about the brutal attacks on Israel, the more wickedness is revealed. The face of evil has never been more clearly seen in our lifetime than on October 7, and it is truly demonic in nature.

Not terribly surprising, powerful “jihad drugs” have been recovered from neutralized or captured Hamas terrorists following the attacks. Also used by ISIS, Captagon is a very addictive, potent stimulant illegally used in the Middle East. Leaders provide the drugs to make assailants more hyperactive, cruel and merciless.

Interestingly, the Greek word pharmakeia (from which “pharmacy” is derived) is used multiple times in New Testament teachings, and is often associated with murder, enmity, strife and sexual immorality, all of which are characteristic of the attacks. (Galatians 5:20, Revelation 9:21, Revelation 21:8, Revelation 22:15)

Now, consider this. With a wide-open southern border, we are all aware of the drug flow into America. Likewise, we know an increased number of known terrorists have also infiltrated our country. Europe has already tasted the evil fruit of that combination, as pro-terrorist rallies, violence and raiding are happening in cities across Europe.

In the US, we are seeing greatly increased numbers of activists who operate without restraint on university campuses and in American cities such as Chicago, Sacramento, Washington DC, Dallas, New Orleans, and Philadelphia.

Dear friends, evil has global impact, but there is a reason the ayatollahs of Iran call Israel the “Little Satan” and America the “Great Satan.” Israel is only the starting point. They are coming for us.

Why America? Because the real battle is a spiritual one. It should be no surprise that America’s Biblical foundation is crumbling. Christians are Satan’s major obstacle in winning over this world, and America is considered the root from which the Gospel has gone out to the world.

Like it or not, we’re in the battle and it’s time to get serious with Jesus. Though God could miraculously intervene, short of that, chances are very likely we will face the same evil in various forms that we saw in Israel. The mask is ripped off and the face of evil is now exposed.

Only Jesus is the answer.
