It’s Saturday, which means I share resources used as I prepare for our October Israel Tour. Today’s resource is a fun, light-hearted video from Sergio and Rhoda, two Israelis whose sense of adventure is entertaining and often educational. At times they go to little-known places around Israel to provide unique perspectives of the land and the people.
Today, though, they will take us to Temple Mount. Our tour groups go there, but with tight restrictions, it remains a somewhat secretive place. Non-Muslims are allowed on Temple Mount only on certain days and at certain times.
Sit back and enjoy Sergio and Rhoda’s perspective of Temple Mount:
Join us for the real thing in February 2024!
Great video Kym. I bought Leen Ritmeyer’s book describing his work on the Temple Mount. I wanted a better understanding of the evolution of the structure and a better understanding of just where I had been. It’s sort of overwhelming so the video will better prepare the tour folks.
I love your zeal, Carole! It’s never too late to learn new things, and I’m so excited that our tour sparked that interest!
