Israel: Where God’s Promises Come to Life

Throughout history, Israel has been God’s showcase of fulfilled promises. For example, every one of the 500+ Bible prophecies concerning Jesus’ birth, ministry, crucifixion, burial and resurrection were fulfilled exactly as prophesied. Why is that so important? Because God intended from the beginning to make Israel His showcase of fulfilled promises.

Today, we are seeing the stage being set for fulfillment of hundreds more prophecies relevant to end times. From weather events to social and political chaos to the advancement of technology to lawlessness and more, it is happening.

But in our day and age, one fulfilled prophecy sticks out above all others: the rebirth of Israel in 1948. Without Israel’s presence in the land God promised them, end time prophecies could not be fulfilled. Israel’s rebirth was absolutely miraculous, and her survival since then is even more amazing. God intends to keep His promises, regardless of the odds!

The nations of the earth have not been especially kind to Israel, and historically, neither have Christians. Atrocities such as the Spanish Inquisition, the Crusades and the Holocaust were leveled against the Jewish people in the name of Christianity. By God’s grace and a lot of bridgebuilding, the tide turned once Israel became a nation again, and Christians enjoy more freedom in Israel than anywhere else in the region. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu often acknowledges that Christians are Israel’s best friend. As we should be.

As God is demonstrating His covenant faithfulness to Israel, Christians are flocking to the land, just as the Bible predicts! In talking about the Holy City of Jerusalem, the prophet Zechariah writes:

20 “Thus says the Lord of hosts:

‘Peoples shall yet come,
Inhabitants of many cities;
21 The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying,
“Let us continue to go and pray before the Lord,
And seek the Lord of hosts.
I myself will go also.”
22 Yes, many peoples and strong nations
Shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem,
And to pray before the Lord.’

23 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.” ’ ”

~Zechariah 8:20-23

I love the Lord’s idea of those of us from other nations grasping the sleeve of a Jewish man, pleading, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.” In large part, that is why EXPERIENCE ISRAEL Tours intentionally engages with the people of Israel. As we “grasp the sleeve,” we indeed know that God is with them, and it cements in our hearts and minds just how faithful God is to fulfill His promises! After all, He uniquely called the Jewish people for that very task!

I urge you to come to Israel with us in February 2024. Bible prophecies tell us we are living in the last days, and it is a marvelous time to realize new depths of God’s faithfulness! Who do you want to share that blessing with? Gather family and friends, join us in Israel, and watch the Lord do something absolutely amazing in your life!
