Marathon runner, Valentyna Veretska from Ukraine, is running in the Jerusalem Marathon today. (In fact, by the time you read this, she will have crossed the finish line!) But her story is very unique.

She and her 11-year-old daughter are currently living as refugees in Poland while her husband remains in Ukraine, fighting the war against Russia. When she received the invitation, he encouraged her to go and participate, doing what she loves to do. Check out her story here:
