US Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, was a key cog in the success of the Abraham Accords. An attorney-turned-diplomat, Friedman is soft-spoken but possesses a spine of steel. As one of several architects of the Accords, Ambassador Friedman oozes confidence and savvy when it comes to brokering peace between Israel and Arab nations.
However, what may be as impressive as his diplomatic acumen is his Biblical understanding of Abraham’s importance to the three Abrahamic religious systems: Judaism, Islam and Christianity. Because of his great wisdom, it seems God anointed him with supernatural ability to draw all together, while allowing each to maintain dignity of faith and national interests.
Ambassador Friedman’s long-awaited new book, SLEDGEHAMMER: How Breaking with the Past Brought Peace to the Middle East, releases next Tuesday (Feb 8, 2022), and will take readers into the palaces, embassies and the White House to hear conversations with key players from around the world.
But that’s not all! Friedman and a team of producers put out a 3-part series available online through TBN. Viewing requires that you create an account (email address and password), but allows access to other TBN productions as well. There is no cost, and the videos are very well-done. In fact, I sat down to watch one 50-minute episode and ended up watching all three in one sitting (as I multi-tasked, of course)!
You’ll see onsite interviews with all the big players such as President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, key negotiator Jared Kushner, and all the foreign leaders who ultimately entered peace agreements with Israel. It is fascinating, and seeing the palaces in the UAE and Bahrain will cause your jaw to drop! So, make time this weekend to catch it here:
