Wars and Rumors of War…Russia Moves into Belarus

Rumors of war are heating up.

Russia has threatened America and our allies not to interfere in their apparent takeover attempt of Ukraine, or hinder former Soviet bloc nations such as Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary from leaving NATO. Russia is putting pressure on those satellite nations to forego alliances with the west and return under the wing of mother Russia.

One nation held out on the 1997 move of Soviet states to NATO: Belarus. Sitting strategically just north of Ukraine and west of Russia, Belarus provides an avenue for Russia to extend their reach westward. Take a look at this map:

As I write this, heavy Russian military equipment is being rushed into Belarus. (See map above for reference, and check out this video.)

Meanwhile, in other news, the US and UK are currently airlifting military equipment to Ukraine, Israeli security personnel are visiting Khartoum Sudan today, the UAE Ambassador to the US has requested that America return the Houthis to the list of terrorist organizations, and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is in Moscow today to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin!

Regardless of what you think of American and world leadership, it is impossible to deny that aggression by nations identified in Ezekiel 38 (Russia, Iran, Turkey, secondarily Sudan and Libya) is increasing, and Israel sits at the crossroads!

The Bible is never inaccurate! We can trust every word of it, and right now world circumstances are screaming its truth! Believers, we know how it ends! Do not fear or be dismayed. Things are not falling apart, they are falling into place! One day, our Savior Jesus Christ will descend from heaven to call us up to meet him in the air. That is the rapture…and it could be any time. Until then, we have work to do! Armor up and stand strong! (Ephesians 6:10-20)
