Breaking news this morning from several sources (here, here, for example) indicate a powerful Russian nuclear submarine was spotted off the coast of the United States. (I have been unable to confirm which coast, as the west coast is obviously closer to Russia, but Russia is tampering in Cuba and Valenzuela, making the east coast a possibility.)

This seems to be a surprise sighting. If American intelligence is unable to track Russian submarines, a very serious threat to our homeland exists.
