America on the Brink, Christians at a Crossroad

The US elections will be officially certified today, and America finds herself in a precarious place. Will the America we know and love become something we never dreamed it would be, or will we somehow salvage our Constitutional Republic from the rubbish heap upon which we seem to have been hurled?

Likewise, as Christians we find ourselves in a challenging spot. Will Godly morals and values cease to exist except in those of us who fight to make them our own personal standard?

Since it’s foundation, America has been a beacon of light and a bastion of hope for the world. America, since Israel’s re-birth in 1948, has stood strong with the Jewish state…though never stronger than in the past 4 years. The great democratic experiment has worked for over 240 years, as our country has proven that a nation is indeed capable of governing itself according to “We the people…” But all those things (and more) seem to be on the brink of distinction if we are not very careful how we proceed from here.

It is my own personal belief (of which you do not have to agree) that the time has never been more ripe for Christians to commit themselves to Biblical values. I don’t mean simply “believing the Bible is true.” We must live out what we believe, and we must stand up and take the lead if we are to maintain our freedoms in America. We must also follow the Biblical command to stand with and to bless Israel.

I may not always like his words and his ways, but no one has fought harder for the values we hold dear than President Trump. I don’t even know if he is a Christian, but I respect a person who fights for what is right, and who stands up for righteousness. I believe President Trump has done that and will continue to do so…whether he is in the White House or not. He may or may not be a Christian, but he is most certainly a patriot, deeply in love with the country he governs. I respect a leader who never gives up and never backs down when it comes to fighting for just cause.

Check out this inspiring video. As usual, I don’t necessarily agree with every single thing said or presented herein, but I fully agree with the premise. As you watch, I hope you are inspired to be a person who stands for what is right and righteous, and that you become bold in that stance! We are living in the last of the last days and, as Christians, it is definitely time to be about the Father’s business. Be encouraged…and be emboldened in your faith and in your country!

Enjoy!

We’ll continue a theme over the next couple days, so stay tuned!

I wholeheartedly agree. I have no idea why God allowed Biden to steal the election. But, I do know He is still on the throne and in control. America as we know it may never be the same again. We must take ou stand to honor our beliefs and pray for His soo return.

    1. Amen! Our God reigns, regardless of who is president. I pray we are all steadfast in our faith. We will face greater challenges in the future, so we must know where our security comes from, and we must live in it! Blessings to you…and thanks for commenting.
