Friends, welcome to “the day after!” Did you wake up today? Is the earth still spinning on its axis? Indeed, God is still on the throne. Furthermore, He is sovereign over all things and knows the end from the beginning.

Thankfully, we have a Heavenly Father who has given us His Word and we can turn there! Are you feeling weary in the battle of elections and COVID? He gives strength to the weary! Today, meditate on this precious passage:

²⁸ Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is unsearchable.
²⁹ He gives strength to the weary,
And to the one who lacks might He increases power.
³⁰ Though youths grow weary and tired,
And vigorous young men stumble badly,
³¹ Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.

~Isaiah 40:28-31

Wait for the Lord today, dear friends. In His strength, you will soar as an eagle and will not become tired or weary. The One who watches over Israel (Psalm 121:4), also watches over His children! The Lord is our strength!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full, in his wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of his glory and grace.
