Stop and let that title sink in.
Historically, nations always got the kind of leader they deserve. For example, Israel wanted a king just like every other nation in the area. When they got what they wanted, the nation of Israel was divided and eventually went into captivity.
To this day, when we depend upon the Word of God for guidance, we prosper. When we don’t depend upon the Word of God for guidance, we crumble.
When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice.
~Proverbs 29:2
But when the wicked are in power, they groan.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,

The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.
