¹¹ Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;
Let the sea roar, and all it contains;
¹² Let the field exult, and all that is in it.
Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy

He will judge the world in righteousness

A friend of mine sent these pictures from Israel. Everyone there remains locked down at home. However, two different Israeli friends have told me they can see nearby fields of flowers from their windows, and they have never been more beautiful following the rainy winter and early-spring Israel experienced. (Check out tomorrow’s post for more about that!)

Despite the challenges we face today, creation still screams of His glory! After all, He is still the God of all creation, He continues to show His love by making things beautiful for our benefit, and He is still on the throne. Psalm 96 also tells us Jesus is coming, and He will judge the world in righteousness!

For those of us who love the Lord and His coming, that is all good news! A season is coming when we will join all creation in glorifying Him, and at last we will reign with Him in righteousness! (That is the Millennial Kingdom!) Until that day, let’s praise the Lord for every beautiful thing that feeds our longing to see Him!
