Hi friends! It’s first Wednesday, and that means an international prayer experience as we join believers from around the globe in obedience to God’s command for us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122). In fact, this prayer initiative is founded on Isaiah 62 which exhorts us to “…take no rest for yourselves and give Him no rest until He establishes and make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”
“But how do I pray specifically for Israel?” Great question…and here is the answer! The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) provides a monthly prayer guide. You will find a prayer letter here, and the opportunity to request specific prayer points via email.
Also, connect with others who are praying for Israel today! If you are in the Phoenix area, an Isaiah 62 Prayer Initiative group meets at CalvaryPHX at 5:30 pm on the first Wednesday of every month. Join us in Room 301. Otherwise, why not gather a few friends and start your own prayer group!
Join the global movement and be obedient to God’s call to us to pray for Israel!
