Israeli Paralympic swimmers came away with 3 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals in the recently-completed World Para Swimming Allianz European Championships in Ireland.
Eleven athletes from the Jewish state competed among 400 swimmers from 37 countries, with a total of 6 coming away with medals.
Meanwhile, in Brazil, two other Israeli Paralympic athletes brought home medals (a gold and a silver) from the International Badminton Tournament.
We are seeing more and more athletes from Israel compete for podium spots in international competition. As with most things, I suspect we will see growing excellence in Israeli athletes as they compete on international stages!
