We’re continuing on with Franklin Graham’s Decision America Tour 2016 as he travels to every state capital in America, exhorting Christians to live out their faith at home, in public, and at the ballot box. Our nation is in decline, and only when Christians rise up as the Body of Christ by bowing low to our Lord and Savior will we truly see revival happen in our land.
However, there is hope! God says that if we, His people, humble ourselves (bow to His Kingship), pray (relate to Him as a friend), seek His face (plead His mercy), and turn from our wicked ways (repent), He will be gracious enough to hear our prayers, forgive our sins, and heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14). Our God is so good! He doesn’t make us have to crack the code! Nor does He require us to work for His favor. He simply asks us to be humble enough to seek Him in prayer and repent.
That seems to be the heartbeat of Decision America Tour. Today, the tour stops in New Hampshire. With early primaries in Iowa and New Hampshire, it is no wonder those two states are early on the tour schedule! (The tour stopped in Iowa on January 5.) Let’s join the thousands who will gather in New Hampshire and online today to pray for New Hampshire.
Tuesday, January 19, 2016: New Hampshire
- About 51% of New Hampshire is unchurched.
- New Hampshire has the second highest number of people who claim no religion or faith.
- Nearly 30% of 18-25 year olds in the state reported using illegal drugs.
“Heavenly Father, Your Word says You are a father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5). Right now over half of New Hampshire residents cannot find their spiritual father. Lord God, reveal Yourself to them and draw them into Your flock. Be their Heavenly Father! May it not require catastrophe for them to return to church…the place where Your people fellowship with You. You have given every single person on earth a desire to know their Creator and Savior, and I pray that New Hampshire will lead the nation in turning to You…not to claim “religion,” but rather relationship with the One True God! Then, as they turn, I trust You will reveal to them the futility in turning to drugs and other attempts at fulfillment. You are sufficient for us all. In the Name of Jesus I pray, please be a mighty force in New Hampshire!”
