I just read the fantastic piece written by Joel Rosenberg regarding the presidential candidacy of Rick Santorum.  Santorum was a relatively little-known presidential candidate who gained some attention during the 2012 elections.  He has just announced his intentions to run in the 2016 election.

Like Rosenberg, I believe it is too early to make strong recommendations regarding the candidates, and I believe there are potentially better candidates this year than in a long, long time.  However, I have spent considerable time looking into potential candidates’ positions and I can attest to the fact that Rick Santorum has as strong a Biblical stance on issues as anyone.

I encourage you to read Joel Rosenberg’s article about Rick Santorum.  Now is the time for responsible Americans to begin evaluating candidates on the basis of God’s Word.

As believers in Jesus Christ, we’re praying for a Great Awakening in America.  Washington can’t fix our problems, but those we elect are certainly able to help define the parameters within which we maintain our freedoms.  I truly believe that God has heard our prayers for a Great Awakening and is, even now, stirring in the hearts of those who will yield to Him.  Will you join me in daily prayer for national repentance and the return of God’s blessing on our land?  Let’s bathe our candidates in prayer, that they might seek the Lord and lead us in the ways of righteousness.
