What a fantastic day of prayer and fasting we have had!  Our Lord is pleased, so finish strong prayer warriors!

Yesterday we Prepared to Pray Confidently for a Third Great Awakening in our Nation that Impacts the World.  Please take time to review, then consider these prayer points to guide you:

• Ask the Lord how you might “blow the trumpet” and “sound the alarm” to others. You don’t need to “know it all,” simply share what you know about being prepared for Jesus’ Second Coming.  What ways might you do that?  Are you bold enough to ask the Lord to grant you opportunities to do so?
• Weeping, mourning and rending of heart are actions associated with repentance. Let’s spend time today asking the Lord to gently reveal to us where we have “missed the mark.”  Confession brings spiritual healing, and turning from sin (repentance) is life-giving.  If a Great Awakening occurs, it must start in an individual’s heart.  Why not ask our Almighty God to spark the next Great Awakening in each of us individually!
• Allow the Lord to identify the “normal” things in life that take us away from His desires. Then, let’s be willing to give it up in favor of His desires in us.  Is it television?  The internet?  Busyness?  Once identified, let’s consecrate a fast…a putting aside of those things in order to be fully available for His service.
• If you are not fully plugged into a church that engages in the teaching of God’s Word, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer (Acts 2:42), ask the Lord for wisdom and guidance to lead you to the right place. Get plugged in!  If you are already fully plugged in and experiencing those four spiritual disciplines, thank the Lord for your church’s leadership…and stay plugged in!
• If you don’t already know, ask the Lord to reveal His call for you. Every member of the body of Christ is designed for service.  If you are unsure, why not pray diligently until you have the answer!  Seeking counsel from a mature believer may be helpful too.
• Spend time praying for your spiritual leaders, and make it a regular habit. Those in spiritual leadership are often under attack and they need your prayers, support and encouragement.  I challenge you to pray, then make a point within the next week of personally expressing your encouragement to your spiritual leaders.  They need to hear from you!
• Spend the remainder of your time today praising God for the fountain of grace that He is, and thank Him for all He has poured out on you!

How honored and blessed I am today to share this time with believers from all over the world!  I am humbled that you chose to spend a portion of your day “shaking it up!”  As we finish up our prayer time together, it is my deepest hope that you experience the fullness of all the Lord desires for you today.  You please Him, as the prayers of the saints are a beautiful aroma to the Lord (Revelation 5:8 and Revelation 8:3-4).

Indeed, our God is a prayer-hearing, prayer-answering, miracle-working God!  We have prayed confidently, but this is only the beginning!  We must continue to pray with confident expectation that He will indeed answer!  Tune in tomorrow as we close out the week giving thanks and praise to Him!
