Turkey’s PM Vows to “Protect Jerusalem and the al-Aksa Mosque”

It seems that, as I was writing yesterday’s post (Are We Seeing the Stage Being Set for Ezekiel’s Prophecies?), Turkey’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu was providing additional evidence to the point that Turkey is indeed becoming more and more antagonistic toward Israel while becoming closely aligned with Israel’s enemies.

According to the Jerusalem Post (as well as other media outlets), the prime minister vowed to defend Jerusalem and al-Aksa mosque.  He also promised that Turkey will not be silent.

This rhetoric comes after a riot erupted on Temple Mount when “dozens of masked Palestinians” attacked Israeli officers with weapons stockpiled and hidden away in al-Aksa mosque (located on Temple Mount).  The incident occurred as Israeli officers opened an entrance to Temple Mount for visitors.  The officers responded to the attack by using non-lethal weapons, such as stun grenades, to disperse the crowd.  Many fled into al-Aksa.  According to reports, “The arsenal of weapons clearly indicated a premeditated attack.”

It is common practice for world leaders (Arab and non-Arab alike) to disparage Israel when Israel responds to protect her land and her people…or in this case, when they defend the safety of Temple Mount.  Understand that Temple Mount is under Muslim control, yet Israel has the unenviable task of securing it.  Thus, when Palestinians or other Muslims create havoc on Temple Mount, it is up to Israel to keep the peace!  Yet, when they do, international condemnation comes their way.

Here are some other headlines, revealing contempt of other Turkish leaders toward Israel:

Indeed, Turkey is well-entrenched as an enemy of Israel and an ally to the Palestinians and other radical Muslims.  Look for them to continue building relations with Russia and Iran.  Ultimately, they will fulfill their part of Ezekiel’s prophecy (Ezekiel 38)…just as God’s Word says!

Friends, prophecy confirms Scripture and we are watching end time prophecies fall into place.  Revelation 1:3 says, Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.  All of God’s Word is nourishing…study it!  However, reading, hearing, and heeding prophecy results in blessing!  The time is near, so let’s get to it!

Blessings!
