Hi friends! I’m excited to tell you about the fall lineup of tours to Israel! When I joined the team at ONE FOR ISRAEL as their US-based Tour Coordinator, I had two immediate objectives: plan and execute a second timers tour, and organize an optional extension for those who wished to engage in ministry projects while in Israel.
I’m happy to say both of those opportunities now exist, along with a regular first timers tour that also allows participation in the ministry extension! Here is the schedule of those tours:
- October 17-27: Return to Israel Tour (second timers)
- October 28-31: Optional ministry extension
- November 1-10: Regular (first timers) OFI Tour
The Return to Israel Tour features stops at lesser known, but exciting places such as ancient Shiloh, Mizgav Am (a military outpost on the Lebanese border), Gideon’s Spring, Eilat, and a day trip to Petra, Jordan. We will also re-visit sites such as Magdala, Capernaum, Mount of Olives, and the Garden Tomb.
Our extension will be an exciting, ministry-focused venture of serving alongside Jewish and Arab pastors in beautiful Ashdod and Nazareth, Jesus’ boyhood home. We will also serve at City of Life Ministries in Sderot, right on the Gaza border. (Yes, it is now safe to go there.) While near Gaza, we will also visit the Nova site where Hamas terrorized young partygoers, and we will tour Sderot, which was attacked on October 7, 2023.
The regular ONE FOR ISRAEL Tour (for first timers or those wanting a repeat experience) will include all sites critically important to our Christian faith. We’ll tour the Galilee area (where 70% of Jesus’ ministry took place), journey to the northern borders of Lebanon and Syria (yes, it is safe to go there), travel down the Jordan River Valley, tour the Dead Sea area, and enjoy the golden city of Jerusalem. Along the way, we will work in opportunities to engage with the people and the culture.
I have the great privilege of leading those tours and would love to host you in Israel! If you are interested, please visit ONE FOR ISRAEL’s tour webpage and consider a journey of a lifetime! If you have questions, feel free to contact me directly at 817-776-2367!
One other option: If your church, your family and friends, or any other group of 15 or more are interested in customizing a private tour, we can do that! Just give me a call!
Hope to see you in Israel this fall!
