Exciting Tour News!

Hi friends! For those who don’t know, I recently accepted a position at ONE FOR ISRAEL as our US-based Israel Tour Coordinator. I absolutely love my job, as I spend my “working” hours helping people plan their “trip of a lifetime,” then coordinating those plans to make it the very best experience possible.

Since joining the staff in December, my first objective was to put together a second timers tour, unveiling sites not seen on regular tours and offering even more opportunities to engage the people, the culture and the spiritual significance of Israel. I’m excited to tell you we have indeed planned a Return to Israel Tour for second timers, and information will be out very soon! If you’ve been to Israel before, this tour will scratch the itching desire to go again, and it would be our joy to host you!

Besides the Return to Israel Tour, we’ve got private tours going all the time and we schedule 2-3 open tours each year so anyone from anywhere can join us. Those groups are absolutely amazing as believers from around the world become family right there in the land of Israel! Plus, there is an optional extension featuring service projects, including places near the Gaza border, giving you an opportunity to see the Nova site and a border city, both of which were attacked on October 7. I hope you will consider joining us on one of these upcoming tours:

  • June 7-16, 2026: If you’re anxious to get there, this tour still has a handful of seats available, but they will fill up very soon. (We limit tours to 40, the optimal size for efficiency and fellowship.) One of my co-workers will lead this tour and it promises to be filled with rich opportunities to experience Israel.
  • October 18-27: This is our Return to Israel Tour for second timers! We are working out final details and will post the tour very soon (within days) on our main tour page. Insider info: The tour will include a day trip to Petra and other interesting adventures, so keep an eye out for information coming soon! I will personally be leading this tour and would love to connect with you!
  • October 28-31: This is an optional extension, sandwiched between our Return to Israel Tour and our November 1-10 tour. That is purposeful to allow guest from either tour to join us for those 3 wonderful days of service projects and a glimpse into actual places Hamas terrorists wreaked havoc. (Safety is not a big concern, as the IDF has pushed what is left of Hamas further away from Israel’s borders and have them well contained.)
  • November 1-10, 2026: For those who have never been to Israel, or who wish to return to the foundational sites of our Christian heritage, this is the tour for you! From the Galilee area to the Mount of Olives, City of David, Calvary’s hill and the Garden Tomb, you will be transported through Scripture to those Biblical sites. There is nothing like studying your Bible at the very places it was written and carried out! You will never read your Bible the same! Of course, there is the option to come early for the October 28-31 extension to enrich the experience. (I will lead this tour as well.)
  • Coming in 2027: We will coordinate at least two more open tours in April and November, and if our Return to Israel tour is a success, we may repeat it in 2027! Opportunities abound.

Want a private, fully customized experience? Gather your own group and let us customize a tour any way you want it! The minimum group size is 20, but we work to connect interested groups together if you have trouble gathering 20 to go. The work we do with group leaders is exciting as we plan together to make sure the tour is designed with the group’s interest in mind. There is something special about experiencing Israel with a group of like-minded friends! A private tour is the way to go, as we walk with you every step of the way to plan the tour and make sure it meets your objectives. And the cost will be very similar to open tours (depending upon how many days and what activities you choose.)

It is a great time to be in Israel! Though tours are beginning to ramp back up, the crowds are still much smaller than prior to Covid and the war. Before long, the crowds will return, so I encourage you to take advantage of this time!

There is lots of information on ONE FOR ISRAEL’s tour page, but if you have specific questions or would like to discuss a private tour, please contact me at 817-776-2367 or at kym@oneforisrael.org. Hope to see you in Israel soon! Meanwhile, enjoy our new tour video:

See you in Israel!
