Mike Huckabee to Interview with Tucker Carlson

Few stand as strongly with Israel as Mike Huckabee, the US Ambassador to Israel. He seems to be a perfect fit for the job God prepared for him. An American ambassador’s job is to represent the interests of the United States and of the President, regardless of whether or not he agrees. In Huckabee’s case, he seems to be not only an ambassador, but also an advisor to President Trump when it comes to Israel. Pray for him and his family as he faithfully serves His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as well as the interests of America.

Also, take note in his comments below regarding Tucker Carlson, who has become a leading antisemitic voice in America. Following a particularly slanted interview regarding what Carlson described as terrible treatment of Christians in Israel, he leveled heated criticism of Huckabee. In response, the Ambassador stated on X: “Instead of talking ABOUT me, why don’t you come talk TO me?” It is now confirmed the two will sit down for an interview this week.

It is important to know that, though once considered a strong conservative voice, Tucker Carlson has increasingly spewed anti-Israel rhetoric since leaving Fox News a few years ago. Some conservatives have distanced themselves from Tucker Carlson, but he still maintains strong relationships with President Trump, VP Vance, the Heritage Foundation, Turning Point USA and other major conservative power brokers, creating a potential chasm when it comes to Israel. He has led the charge in swaying young people to become less favorable toward Israel. May the Lord grant Huckabee tremendous wisdom and the ability to articulate clearly in defense of Christian Zionism (Christians who believe Israel has a right to their homeland and the right to defend it.)

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee at the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations:

"For more than 47 years, since 1979, the Iranian regime has called for the destruction of the US. It also calls for the destruction of Israel, because it stands in its way to destroy the US.

"Iran is not only a problem for the US and Israel, it is a problem for the world. Its goal is to destroy the US and what it represents. Too many American citizens do not understand the significance of the Iranian calls for the destruction of the US. There are Iranian and Hezbollah branches throughout South America. If there is a regime that has been telling you for so many years that it wants to destroy you, then maybe it is really worth listening to it and taking its threats seriously.

"Tomorrow there will be another round of talks between the US and Iran in Geneva. I do not know if this round will succeed. I do not know if within the negotiations we will succeed in removing the threat of nuclear weapons, ballistic missiles, and terror financing. I am a person who believes in peace and will do a lot to achieve it. But, if for the future of all of us, there must be a war - then that is what will happen. I told President Trump last week, I hope the negotiations succeed. But if not, the US will have to deal with these issues in another way. I explained to President Trump that he is 4,000 miles away from Iran but I look the bull straight in the eyes and I am ready to pay the price. If you want to destroy the poison in the kitchen, sometimes you have to burn down the whole kitchen so it can heal and be restored.

Huckabee also referred in his speech at the conference to moving to the second phase in Gaza: "No one thought it was possible to let the Nazis continue to operate in Germany after World War II, and no one thinks Hamas can continue to operate in Gaza after October 7.

Huckabee told the heads of the organizations that this coming Wednesday he will conduct an interview for the podcast of American right-wing figure Tucker Carlson. "I agreed to this because he mentions my name a lot on his platform. We cannot change the narrative if we do not fight for it. Tucker Carlson is definitely not my style, but if I do not confront him and respond to him, then we will not succeed in changing and influencing. I am a Christian Zionist. Some people do not understand what that means. We believe that Christianity would not exist without Judaism. So one of the reasons I want to have a conversation with Tucker Carlson is something I was told when I was in high school - the meaning of silence is consent. Anyone who wants to fight for the truth cannot be silent.

"Israel is the only place in the world where I felt at home, even though I was not born there. I told my grandchildren last November, after meeting them for 5 days, that it was time to pack up, go home, and fly to Israel."
