A resounding, No! The church has not replaced Israel. The Bible is filled with evidence that Israel was, is and always will be God’s uniquely-called people and nation.

Despite that, even some big-name evangelicals are claiming differently. With all due respect to those scholars, those who adhere to Replacement Theology (also known as supersessionism or Fulfillment Theology) have missed the mark, Biblically. God’s Word is clear that the covenant made with Abraham (uniquely setting apart the Jewish people and their homeland) is everlasting. (Genesis 17:7, 1 Chronicles 16:17, Psalm 105:10, among many other passages)

Friends, this is a very critical issue. As Christians, the further we drift from God’s Word, the more likely we are to be deceived by other false teaching. Stand firm, dear friends!
