Unlocking Hebrew Treasures in God’s Word

There are countless treasures hidden in the Hebrew language, particularly when it comes to God’s Word. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew, and if you have ever studied using a concordance or a Hebrew key study Bible, you have discovered depths of words and passages that just can’t be delivered in English (or any other language). There is something special about Hebrew!

The New Testament was written in Greek, and though it too is a very descriptive language, something happens when we connect the ancient languages. Our English word, Jesus, is translated from the Greek. But what if the New Testament was written in Hebrew? What would Jesus’ name be? And what, if any, significance is there to the name of Jesus in Hebrew?
