I’m super excited! My daily posts usually drop just after midnight. Thus, as this post drops (assuming my flight was not delayed), I am literally arriving Sunday morning in Israel. Four tour guests happened to have flown on the same flight with me, so we met in the Newark airport!
Once on the ground in Tel Aviv, we will await morning arrivals of other guests. Then, we will make our way to our hotel in Netanya (1 hour north of Tel Aviv). We’ve got a full day ahead of us to try to stay awake, so a nice walk on the beautiful Mediterranean coast to explore beaches and dip our toes in the sea is in order!
If all goes as planned, we will greet our afternoon arrivals at the hotel just before dinner. Our entire group will be together for the very first time at 7pm tonight for dinner, then orientation. What a joyous occasion that will be! However, we will all be tired and ready for bed, so pray we are able to disseminate important information quickly and get everyone some much needed sleep.
A quick word about the time difference. We have followers from around the world, so those of you in the US are 7 hours (east coast) to 10 hours (west coast) behind us in Israel. For example, that 7pm orientation happens at 10am for my friends following in Arizona! If you are in Europe, the time difference is less, and for those east of Israel, your time zone will be ahead of Israel!
Timing is such that I will write whenever I can, including perhaps well into the night following each day’s activities. Due to the time difference and needing to write on the fly, posts may not drop on a normal schedule! Thus, check in during the day, as you never know when new info might show up!
