Over the weekend I read a very interesting perspective from an Israeli source who has become a “go to” when I’m seeking insider information in Israel. That source is Amit Segal and he wrote a very intriguing “behind the scenes” narrative of the negotiations that took place between Israelis and the Trump administration. His lengthy magazine article was published by Israel Hayom (an Israeli news source) and fills in lots of details for those of us who want to put all the pieces together and know exactly how the Middle East peace plan came to be.

It is long, but the first section entitled The Land of Possibilities provides many of the juicy details. If you are only slightly curious, you will get the gist by reading that part. For the hard core, “I want to know more” crowd, you might want to read the entire article! Either way, enjoy the glimpse behind the curtain!
