Tomorrow will mark two years since the brutal attack, massacre and kidnapping of innocent Israeli citizens by demonic terrorists known as Hamas. As of this writing, 48 hostages remain in Gaza, despite a call for their release and an end to the 2-year war taking place there.
Please take a moment to put the cares of the world aside and contemplate Israel’s great trauma and loss on that day. Then, please pray for:
- The release of the remaining hostages. (Here is a list of names with information about them. Why not choose at least one hostage to pray for.)
- The wellbeing of previously released hostages still learning to live again in freedom, minus fear.
- The families of those who lost loved ones during the attack.
- The families of those whose loved ones were kidnapped and didn’t make it home.
- The families of soldiers who lost their lives fighting this horrible war.
- The soldiers (and their families) who continue to wage war against terrorism in Gaza and elsewhere.
- Wisdom, strength and boldness for Israel’s leaders to do the right thing.
To my Israeli friends: We stand with you…and we will never forget.
PS: Tune in tomorrow to hear a hostage’s story.
