This is How They Do It in Israel!

I bleed red, white and blue, and I am immensely grateful to be American. But I also love Israel for many reasons. Here’s one…

Israelis are a unique people in many ways. They are typically bold and straightforward, yet sensitive to needs. Through hardship and hatred, they are generally happy, yet they live in a neighborhood of hatred toward them. They are incredibly resilient…nearly impossible to knock down, and they always get back up. They are typically generous and helpful to one another, and they definitely love their soldiers!

I heard about an incident that happened recently when a lone soldier (one serving in the IDF without family in Israel) with a special skill yearned for the opportunity to utilize that skill. Take a look at this message he posted on social media:

Soon, this lone soldier had more opportunities than he could imagine! Here are only a few of the responses he received:

If you ever wonder about the kindness of Israelis, perhaps this paints the picture for you! They are very hospitable and often consider it an honor to bless a soldier…particularly a lone soldier.

Israel isn’t perfect, but when the Israeli spirit is on display it is a sight to behold! That soldier undoubtedly made many new friends, and those friends bless him with opportunities to use his God-given talent. We could all learn something and be encouraged to have the same attitude of kindness displayed in this example.

I bet a lot of Israelis enjoyed private concerts that will be remembered forever! God bless those generous people, and God bless that talented musician!
