Friends, at times we find it difficult to overcome certain prejudices and obstacles to the Bible’s command to love others. In our human skin, we will never be perfect at it, but through the power of the Holy Spirit, it is possible to love others as Jesus did.

I have shared much about my Arab pastor friend and his wonderful family in Nazareth. Pastor Saleem leads a predominately Arab congregation who absolutely loves the Lord, and they prove it continually by being the hands and feet of Jesus in Nazareth and throughout the land of Israel.

Pastor Saleem recently released the following 2-minute video of his conversation with an Arab man who has been blessed by the ministry of Home of Jesus the King Church. This happens continually at HJTK Church, and I never tire of hearing the testimonies of so many Jews and Arabs alike who have been shown the love of Jesus!

As you watch, will you also pray for Pastor Saleem? He took a tumble several days ago and suffered a significant shoulder injury. As you can imagine, the work at HJTK’s humanitarian ministry center involves lots of lifting and material handling. Pastor Saleem is an “energizer bunny,” so being sidelined from some of the action is difficult for him. Pray for his healing, and for a special word from God as he stills himself and seeks the Lord’s direction in this time of incapacitation.
