Hey friends, we’ve bumped worship up a day this week in order to bless you with a special series on Passion Week which begins tomorrow with Palm Sunday. Importantly, though, we don’t want to give up some beautiful worship as we consider Passover which begins tonight at sundown!
Passover is the first of seven feasts of the Lord, ordained for Israel. For the Jews, it is symbolic of deliverance from captivity. As believers, our deliverance was provided by the Lamb of God who gave His life to save us!
At sundown tonight Jews around the world will celebrate Passover. They will gather together for Passover Seders, commemorate their deliverance, and rejoice with family, friends, and neighbors.
Last year, a wonderful Messianic Jew, Shilo Ben Hod, and his fellow musicians recorded a song of praise in Hebrew, their native tongue. Today, let’s join our Jewish friends in celebrating their deliverance and ours (through Jesus the Messiah). Enjoy!
