An Arab Blessing Jews!

Hi friends! Prior to our trip to Israel, all were invited to be ON MISSION with God…with us…in 3 ways: in prayer, in encouragement, and financially (in a specific project). To those who prayed, THANK YOU! We are very aware that the prayers of God’s people are powerful, and we are so grateful to those who prayed for our safety and wellbeing, as well as for the projects and our hearts of service.

We also received encouraging words via comments on blog posts, email messages and text messages while we were in Israel. Those were so uplifting and gave us the sense you were right there with us. We appreciated that.

God’s missions are often God-sized, and many of you participated financially in a project that was associated with our work up in Kiryat Shmona. Thank you for contributing toward cleaning supplies for Jewish families returning to their homes after taking incoming missile fire from Hezbollah. The church who sponsored that effort is Home of Jesus the King Church in Nazareth. Pastor Saleem Shalash, an Arab believer, works diligently building bridges between Arab and Jewish believers. Thus, a predominately Arab congregation is working to assist Jewish families as they return home! I’m happy to call Pastor Saleem and his wife friends of mine! (If you are interested, there is still time to give. Simply click the link above to make a tax-deductible donation.)

I want you to hear Pastor Saleem’s passion for reaching out to others:

Words are not enough to describe what the Lord is doing in Israel! Indeed, He is at work there and it was such a blessed privilege to join Him ON MISSION! Again, thanks to those of you who joined us in prayer, encouragement, and giving. You made a difference!
