How many of you know of Henry Blackaby’s amazing Bible study called Experiencing God? If you’ve gone through it, you know it is life-changing and, in my opinion, one of the best Bible studies ever written.

In it, one of Blackaby’s key principles is: To experience total fulfillment in your life with Christ, find out where God is working and join Him there! Be on mission with Him!

Plans pivoted from a scheduled Israel tour to a solidarity trip because I clearly saw God at work preparing His uniquely called people (the Jews) for their national salvation one day. The war (as atrocious as it has been) awakened hearts and minds of Israelis (both Jews and Arabs alike) and there has been a softening toward the gospel of Jesus Christ. In a spiritual sense, Israel is a tender nation right now and many are fervently seeking the hope that only Yeshua (Jesus) can bring. They just don’t know where to find it. Our projects will put us fact-to-face with the people of Israel, and our lives may be the demonstration of Jesus they need in order to find hope.

Yes, God is at work in Israel and each person on this trip is keenly aware of the mission. As I privately and personally spoke to each person going on the trip, it was clearly evident that God uniquely prepared each heart and mind to see Him at work in Israel as well. Each is on mission with God. Out of obedience (and the love of Israel and Israel’s Messiah), we are going there February 14-26. We are ordained for this purpose, and I am convinced this will be the most significant trip to Israel I have ever led.

This past week, WhatsApp became my friend, and I racked up some data usage talking to pastors and ministry leaders in Israel ironing out details and timelines for the projects we will participate in. I could hardly believe my ears when I heard about the doors God is opening for us! The opportunities are epic! I’ll share more about those exciting things as time draws near, so stick with us right here for the latest! Also, please plan to follow us as we go to Israel. I’ll post live updates and (Lord willing and technology cooperates) we’ll share some videos with you. Who knows, I may even re-engage on Facebook! (I still hate it!!!)

Indeed, Henry Blackaby taught us that to be in the center of God’s will is the only fulfilling place to be…and to get there, we simply find out where God is working and JOIN HIM! Friends, God is working throughout the land of Israel, preparing His people for their national salvation one day. We’re going to join Him there!

As it turns out, our group is all women, but it is abundantly clear that each, in her own way, has undoubtedly heard from the Lord, has looked carefully at where God is at work, and has committed to JOIN HIM in that work. Together, we will experience God as we experience Israel!
