Winning and losing elections have interesting effects on people and organizations. We are witnessing the relief that millions of people feel as a result of Trump’s victory and his promises to return America to greatness. On the other side of the ledger, “wokies” are pitching fits over the Harris loss, while Democrat operatives are pointing fingers at one another. Especially interesting are reactions of various media outlets. Some want to burn it all down, while others seem to have gained a glimpse of common sense, realizing the Harris campaign was shallow and without answers to the issues important to Americans.

However, one particular CNN commentator caught my attention. To Scott Jennings credit, he accurately articulated truth in this commentary on election night:

Very well spoken.

Here is my point: Though truth-telling such as this is very rare, it is my prayer that America modulates the tone between political parties and between those on the left and right of the political spectrum. Christian friends, we lead the way! Our greatest chance comes when we put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, so let’s lead the way!
