This week, as we listen to incessant lies pouring from the Democrat National Convention, we have focused on the need to make America godly again. Today, we’ll get down to brass tacks regarding American godliness (or lack thereof) in standing with Israel. Frankly, it is only a godly America that will truly stand with Israel.

Dear American friends, godliness is on the ballot this November. No, not every candidate in one party or the other is godly. But when it comes to Israel (and many other conservative values), one side rises far above the other in terms of policies that align with God’s Word. But let’s focus solely on who stands where when it comes to Israel.

By far, the overarching topic of conversation regarding Israel these days is the war in Gaza, and it is critically important that you understand the truth about what took place on October 7. (See yesterday’s post if you missed it.)

As Christians, we must determine where our candidates stand when it comes to Biblical values. The Bible speaks to modern-day issues such as abortion, borders, child mutilation, moral values…and Israel! Do you identify as a Christian? If so, you love the things God loves and hate the things He hates. Scripture is crystal clear that God blesses those who bless Israel and curses those who curse Israel. (Genesis 12:3) Woe to those who “touch the apple of His eye.” (Zechariah 2:8-9)

During the Trump administration:

• Jerusalem was recognized as the eternal capital of Israel.
• The US Embassy was moved to Jerusalem.
• The US recognized the Golan Heights as sovereign Israeli territory (as it should be).
• The US supported development of Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria (the heartland of Israel).
• Crippled Iran with suffocating sanctions that prevented them from funding terrorism and shut down their nuclear ambitions.
• Forged the Abraham Accords, advancing peace and creating economic opportunities between Israel and moderate Muslim nations such as the UAE, Bahrain and Morrocco.
• Brokered unofficial peace arrangements between Israel and Saudi Arabia, resulting in military cooperation against Iran and its terror proxies.

Meanwhile, the Biden-Harris clown show:

• Released all sanctions on Iran, freeing up hundreds of billions of dollars to fund terror proxies (Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, the Houthis, etc) and ramp up their nuclear program…all aimed at destroying Israel (the “Little Satan”) and ultimately the US (the “Great Satan”).
• Puts constant pressure on Israel to sign ill-advised peace agreements with Hamas. (The push is for Israel to agree to a ceasefire without release of hostages and leave Hamas in power.)
• Presses Israel to ensure “humanitarian aid” gets to Gaza citizens, despite the fact Hamas consistently hijacks all aid coming into Gaza.
• Has depleted military reserves by supplying Ukraine with hundreds of billions of dollars worth of military aid while withholding necessary aid to Israel.
• Supported and encouraged violent pro-Hamas demonstrations across the US (including at the Democrat National Convention in Chicago where they tore down fences).
• Turns a blind eye to the antisemitism that is increasing exponentially across the US.

Believing friends, I am no fan of either political party. Both have very significant flaws. However, records speak volumes. The Democrat nominee is far more liberal than her boss, Joe Biden, and has no foreign policy experience or record. However, she has voiced support for pro-Hamas protesters and caters to the ultra-radical “Squad” in Congress. In other words, she hates what God loves.

Donald Trump is no angel, but he does have a strong record of standing with Israel. I don’t agree with his ways, but his policies align Biblically. When it comes to Israel, he loves what God loves and hates what God hates. We are not electing a pastor…we are electing a person (and a party) that most closely aligns with our values, including standing strong with Israel!

Friends, your vote is important, so please do not sacrifice it! Determine to vote, and vote your values. (Not registered? Find out how.) Godliness, not in personal life, but in policy, is on the ballot and as Christians we are obligated to fight for our values. Please plan to vote!

For some, this is “preaching to the choir.” So, to you I say: Go talk to every family member and friend who holds to conservative values and encourage them to vote. Take nothing for granted. This election will come down to whether or not Christians and people of moral character turn out to vote. In the last election, less than half of Christians registered to vote actually voted. We can change the course of our country, so please do your part and encourage your family and friends to VOTE!
