Hi friends! What a fantastic weekend! Having met Yo’el Berkowitz and his family in person on Thursday night, I was excited to hear this fantastic Israeli tour guide share insights into Jesus’ character revealed in the gospel of John. Invited as a special guest of The Heights in Prescott AZ, I made the trip up north to catch two of the four services. I was not disappointed!

John the Apostle dedicated much of his gospel revealing the character and deity of Jesus. It is always a deep theological study, but to hear cultural and Messianic perspective adds a layer of depth and fascination we just don’t naturally have in our western Christian mindset. Yo’el provided the ancient cultural and Messianic Jewish perspective of three different accounts of Jesus in the book of John. Truly fascinating!
