There is a dramatic misunderstanding of Biblical mandates and how they relate to civic involvement. Many will say the church needs to stay out of politics, but what happens when politics invades the church, turning spiritual issues into political ones? (We discussed a big one yesterday!)

As Christians, what should we do? Here is a sound Biblical answer:

Engaging in civic duty has never been more important than it is now. We need a strong America, for America’s sake. But a strong America also stands with Israel. The two are inextricably linked. Live your faith in every area of life, including civic engagement!

There is a “Chase the Vote” training session tonight (Monday, 6/10/24) at 6:00pm at Desert Breeze Community Church (17600 North Black Canyon Hwy – south of Union Hills on the southbound frontage road).
