Surviving the Holocaust and October 7: A Jewish Grandmother Holds Out Hope

The resilience of Jewish people never ceases to amaze me. Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day and Mirjam Beit Talmi Szpiro, a survivor of both the Holocaust and October 7, shares her story of unwavering hope.

I planted a tree in my garden just days before the attack and I will return to tend to it. And, in my heart of hearts, I know my grandchildren will yet eat from its fruit.
