I’ve been awaiting clear information regarding what happened in Beirut Lebanon on January 2. Now information is out and we know that 7 very high-ranking Iranian militants, including the October 7 mastermind, Saleh al-Arouri, were killed in a precision IDF strike in the heart of Beirut. We also know al-Arouri formerly lived in the West Bank, and that at least some of these monsters were planning the next attack on Israel…from the West Bank. The world is a better place without these demonic beasts.
It made worldwide news, so details are available via many sources, but suffice it to say, after years of hunting him down, the very determined IDF ultimately got their man (one of many)! Others will likely meet their maker at the hands of the IDF soon as well.
Ironically, it was 4 years ago on January 3 that a US drone took out Iranian commander, Qassam Soleimani and a couple of his henchmen. Seems new years may not be the most anticipated season for terrorists.
But where does this leave us?
7 key Iranian leaders, along with Soleimani and his friends, have departed planet earth to discover there are not 72 virgins awaiting them. Iran and its terrorist proxies are in a bit of shock. But what will come of it? Will they begin to cower, knowing their great leaders have either been killed or are on the hit list, or will they become more determined to unleash sheer evil on Israel and her allies.

Here’s a hint: American bases in the Middle East have been attacked almost 120 times. Yet, the Biden administration does little more than blow up small buildings with virtually nothing in them. Make no mistake. Despite losing high-ranking leaders, Iran is showing outward signs of aggression they typically outsource to their terror proxies.
To understand Iran, one must only listen to what they say. Clearly, they view Israel as the “little Satan” and America as the “great Satan.” If they want to drive Israel into the sea, what do you suppose they want to do with America, the great Satan?
As things heat up in the Middle East, and as hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants cross our border each month (most of them 18-35 year-old, fighting aged men), buckle up dear friends. We are headed into turbulent times.
Yet, as believers, there is no need to lose heart! (Aren’t you glad of that!) Our Lord literally promises to take up the battle on behalf of Israel, and He takes on our battles as well. Just as with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, God may not remove the fire we must walk through, but His Son, Jesus our Lord, sticks with us in thick and thin!
Indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber not sleep. Trust Him!
