Happy Lord’s Day, dear friends! As we celebrate this Lord’s Day, let’s remember those in Israel who have lost loved ones, those who are kidnapped in Gaza, and those who are displaced because their homes were destroyed.
Let’s also rejoice that the hands and feet of Jesus are alive and active all over Israel. Several days ago I introduced you to Pastor Saleem Shalash, an Arab pastor in Nazareth, and Pastor Israel Pochtar, a Messianic Jewish pastor in Ashkelon, who are brothers in Christ ministering to Israelis in need along the Gaza border. I shared a donation link and many of you joined me in helping to provide humanitarian aid. Thank you!
As he often does, Pastor Saleem posted a video of the work they are doing! Tune in to the first 4 1/2 minutes of this video to see your gift at work…even despite a trip to the bomb shelter as warnings sounded during the video!
If you would like to help financially, you may donate here.
When in Israel, we make a stop at Pastor Saleem’s church and relief center, and sometimes Pastor Israel is there for a project as well. You will never meet pastors more committed to be the hands and feet of Jesus than these two. Pray for them as they bring aid and the love of Jesus to those who are hurting and in need.
Have a blessed Sunday, dear friends, and please do not cease praying for the peace of Jerusalem. (Psalm 122)
