Fantastic documentary!
Last week, I joined friends to view Route 60: The Biblical Highway and it far surpassed our expectations. As a huge fan of the work of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and American Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, I anticipated a top-quality storyline. Delivered by two men who are incredibly intelligent and articulate when it comes to describing the creation and implementation of the Abraham Accords, which is woven throughout the 100-minute documentary, the insider information was especially enjoyable.
Route 60 in Israel is a 146-mile stretch of road from Nazareth in the north to Beersheba in the south filled with rich Biblical significance to both Jews and Christians. Each stop along the way adds greater depth of appreciation for Israel’s past and present. It was the pathway of Israel’s patriarchs, and it was a fantastic backdrop in which to describe the work done to accomplish the Abraham Accords and their impact on Israel and the nations.
Unfortunately, the film was available in theaters only September 18-21. Hopefully it will be released on streaming platforms soon. But until then, here is a little nugget for you! Friedman and Pompeo sat down with Erick Stakelback of TBN-Israel for a 30-minute discussion of the making of the documentary. They share some key things from the movie, so take some time and enjoy!
