Commemorating Israel’s Six-Day War: The Road to Peace

We are wrapping up our series commemorating Israel’s Six Day War, one of the most critical victories in Israel’s miraculous war history. We have recounted the 6 days, plus the aftermath, and are now finishing off our series by looking at the long, difficult road to peace. (Day 1Day 2Day 3Day 4Day 5Day 6Aftermath)

I pray your understanding of today’s Middle East conflict is perhaps a bit deeper having followed along with this series. Peace in the Middle East is incredibly elusive, as Israeli and Arab mindsets are so opposite.

Both Jews and Arabs in the Middle East need our prayers. While it is easy to simply “side with” the Israelis in most cases, we must remember that Arabs and Palestinians were created in God’s image, just as we are. God loves them…and He loves the Jewish people. True peace will not occur until the Prince of Peace reigns in the hearts and minds of those who seek Him! Let that be your prayer today.

Blessings, friends!
