Dear friends, as we continue to see the world hurtling toward chaos, we must not lose heart. I say that with two distinct thoughts in mind: God is sovereign and seated on the throne, and if we do not lose heart in doing good, in due season we shall reap eternal life! (Galatians 6:7-10)

How do we live out the last days before our Savior returns? We are to be about our Father’s business…in every area of life. We simply cannot check our faith at the door, and when it comes to civic responsibility we must remember that God created and ordained government. The Bible provides the foundation for our form of government, and we long to get back to God-honoring principles, don’t we?

With that in mind, part of our civic responsibility is to vote. Again, I encourage you: if you are not registered to vote, please do so. Each state has its own deadlines, but there is still time in every state. To find out details in your state, and to register to vote, CLICK HERE.

It is also important to know what candidates stand for and stand against. In Phoenix, we have a great opportunity to hear directly from candidates regarding issues that matter to us as Christians. The Center for Arizona Policy, a very conservative organization, is hosting a free event in which you will hear directly from the candidates on things such as abortion and sanctity of life, marriage and family matters, and protecting parents’ rights.
