From the beginning of ISIS’s tromp through Iraq, their mode of operation has been to defeat weak Iraqi forces, causing them to flee, then swoop in to take control of arms, ammunition, and vehicles supplied by the Americans prior to the pullout of troops from Iraq.

News is out that ISIS has just overrun yet another military post in Iraq’s Anbar province and has seized very large supplies of M16’s and other weapons, as well as dozens of American humvees.  See CNN’s report here.

As frustrating as that might be, this is only a percentage of weapons and such that ISIS has already captured, and ultimately used in their vicious sweep across Iraq and Syria.  They have also seized:

• Chemical weapons, including mustard gas and sarin, left over from the Saddam Hussein era.  (So much for “no evidence” that Hussein had WMD’s.)
• Caches of weapons airdropped by the US military for use by the Kurds
• American-made tanks, a Russian MiG-21 fighter jet, and other heavy weaponry, including humvees, howitzers, and missiles

Sad to say that very little is being done to prevent this extremely radical, Satanic terrorist organization from running roughshod through the Middle East, destroying or threatening American interests, while using our very own supplies to do so.  Makes me wonder…how far away has America walked?  Check back…I’ll focus on that question in the next day or two.
