Breaking News: ISIS Leader Allegedly Injured in Iraq

American, Israeli and Arabic news sources are reporting that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been injured in an attack of ISIS leadership over the weekend. It is unclear whether the injury occurred as a result of an operation carried out by Iraqi security forces, or by an American airstrike.  (Though the majority of reports point to an American airstrike.)  The extent of injuries is also unclear.

The US has placed a $10 million bounty on the head of al-Baghdadi, so it is clear that the US military is after the ISIS leader.  He has been appointed caliph of the Islamic State and has positioned himself as the preeminent figure in the jihadist community.  ISIS demands that all Muslims pledge allegiance to him.
