I’m keeping it short today, but want to get straight to the point: we must know and understand the season in which we live.
Then He [Jesus] turned to the crowd: “When you see clouds coming in from the west, you say, ‘Storm’s coming’ – and you’re right. And when the wind comes out of the south, you say, ‘This’ll be a hot one’ – and you’re right. Frauds! You know how to tell a change in the weather, so don’t tell me you can’t tell a change in the season, the God-season we’re in right now. You don’t have to be a genius to understand these things. Just use your common sense.” (Luke 12:54-56, The Message)
Are we living in the last days? Just use your common sense! Please prayerfully read and contemplate this passage from 2 Timothy 3:1-5 and determine the season for yourself.
But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power.
