Welcome back friends! I hope you are praying for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122), as well as wisdom for world leaders, and the safety and security of Jews and Palestinians alike in the Gaza conflict.
So much is at stake in world events today. I hope you are viewing those events through the lens of Scripture, and that you are seeing a need to know and understand the season in which we live. To better understand this season, take some time today to consider Fig Trees and Generations.
In considering what is at stake in the battle against Hamas, I want to point you to another fabulous resource. Mosab Hassan Yousef (“Son of Hamas”), who was featured in my last post, ended a speech in 2011 with incredibly sobering words regarding what is at stake if Hamas is allowed to continue on its path. Keep in mind, this is the oldest son of a Hamas founder, so he knows and understands the heartbeat of Hamas. He has since come to faith in Jesus Christ, and I commend his 15-minute speech to you as a means to understand the ultimate goals of Hamas, and the warnings we must heed.
Blessings, friends!
