An Inside View of Hamas – Part 2

Welcome back friends!  We’re diving into the mindset of a real live former terrorist!  If you missed yesterday’s post, take a moment to review before jumping into today’s second portion.

Let’s move on to Part 2 of The furious insignificance of Hamas.  Joseph goes on to share further insight regarding Hamas’s governing ability.

Based on Joseph’s opening statement in this blog post, not only does Hamas govern by kidnapping and torture, they also control tunnels from Egypt into Gaza and keep the best of goods for themselves, leaving Palestinian families to struggle to afford the rest.  What else does Hamas do to the detriment of its people?

Joseph goes on to describe Khaled Meshaal, the exiled Hamas leader.  What does Meshaal accuse the international community of doing?  (Second paragraph after the picture of Khaled Meshaal.)

What does Hamas use to “crush the life, soul and creativity out of the people who gave it their trust?”  (Fifth paragraph after the picture of Khaled Meshaal.)

Based on the paragraph following the picture of a woman smoking a water pipe, what is happening to the people in Gaza?  What do you believe the outlook is for the people under the control of Hamas?

Lots to ponder, isn’t it!  Not only should we be praying for the peace of Jerusalem, as instructed in Psalm 122.  But we should pray also for Israel’s neighbors.  There are many people oppressed by the rule of terrorist regimes.  Let’s be bold enough to pray for the hearts and souls of those people.  After all, the same Blessed Hope that we turn to is the only Hope of these people as well.  Let’s pray!
