The Drive North

While travelling north, we’re learning more about Israeli innovation. Our guide, Amir Tsarfati, is a brilliant young man and representative of the brilliance of Israelis. (Google him…you’ll see some of the things he’s involved in.)

The primary reason (other than the Lord’s great blessing) for Israel’s world-leading innovation is because every Israeli serves in the military, and given unbelievable responsibility as 18 years olds. Because of the security needs of a tiny country in the midst of enemies, 18 year olds begin making intense decisions, and becoming significant leaders at a very young age. By the time a young person completes mandatory military service, they have the mind capacity and leadership qualities of a 35-year old. (Confirmed by studies.) Amir is a great example.

We’re approaching Caeserea by the Sea. More later…
