Well, the day has arrived!  My mom and dad, who are joining me on this trip, have arrived and we will soon board our flight along with about 80 others from my church, Calvary Community Church in Phoenix AZ.  At CCC, we are blessed with fantastic teaching, including the Jewish roots of our faith.  Thus, we love Israel.  Visiting God’s chosen land and God’s chosen people is such a fantastic privilege and we can hardly wait to get there.

 

As for our Jewish roots, we as Gentiles must understand the richness of God’s grace in opening up salvation to us.  To get a taste of God’s grace, and to more fully understand God’s love for Jews AND Gentiles, I encourage you to read/study Romans 11 over the next few days.  I’ll try to paint the picture as best I can as we travel through the land and see the sites that bring light to the truth of that chapter.
