Today’s Assignment: Pray for Yoav…and Thousands Like Him!

Happy Monday, friends! Let’s start the week off on an encouraging note!

There is no doubt the Holy Spirit is stirring in the hearts of Jewish people. As turmoil continues in the Middle East, Israelis are very sensitive to the things of God. I think it is true of other Jews around the world as well.

In Israel, the vast majority of people are secular, many claiming to be agnostic and more than you might think identifying as atheists. Thus, there is a wide breadth from ultra-orthodox, orthodox, and contemporary Jewish people who practice their faith, to the wide range of those who don’t. Throw in many other religions such as Islam, Russian orthodox, Coptic, mystics, Christianity and many others, and you have quite an array of spiritual difference.

No matter, though, God is working, particularly among Jewish people.

To illustrate the point, check out the conversation below between a Messianic Jewish believer and a Jewish agnostic. The fact they are able to have very differing opinions, yet still engage with interest is fascinating, but not wholly unusual.

Please watch to the very end, then commit to pray for Yoav and thousands like him. The veil is lifting, and God invites us to play a huge part by praying for them! I encourage you to do so!
